Targeted far western Nebraska, and took my time. It was a beautiful storm but high based.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/may-19th-2014-tornado-alley-day-3\/20140519-_e1a1098\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-363\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-363\" src=\"http:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/20140519-_E1A1098-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Cheyenne County Supercell\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/20140519-_E1A1098-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/20140519-_E1A1098-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/20140519-_E1A1098.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A second more powerful supercell developed in Colorado and tracked into Cheyenne County, Nebraska. This was the storm of the day, it had amazing suface interaction with a wicked 55MPH RFD kicking up dust and hail to the size of gold balls and bigger.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/may-19th-2014-tornado-alley-day-3\/20140519-_e1a1134\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-364\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-364\" src=\"http:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/20140519-_E1A1134-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Cheyenne County Supercell\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/20140519-_E1A1134-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/20140519-_E1A1134-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/vaughanweather.com\/chase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/20140519-_E1A1134.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It sure did try and produce a sustained wall cloud like structure but the low levels were still fairly dry.
