Alright, enough sight seeing! This was the first storm we finally made our way towards just west of Scottsbluff. The storm was still over the Wyoming border at the time nearing Henry, Nebraska. This rain fed lowering was cranking with tons of vertical motion. From my perspective the base was blocked by a small hill so it really did look like this lowering was on the ground but nothing was ever reported.

This was the supercell to my north, and immediately northeast of the other storm on the Wyoming border. It was clearly elevated with limited surface interaction and temperatures were cool, it was around 65F which is too cold for my liking!

I had to reposition to my south as both storms rolled into Scottsbluff side by side. The storms slowly crept over the National Monument. It made for an awesome photo, it's unusual to see these kinds of storms with this type of terrain.

The south storm which had the rain fed lowering began to rapidly weaken. All the cold air rushing south from the northern storm was having a negative impact. I took this photo looking due west and you can clearly see how the lowering has shriveled up.

Here's the interior of the car, I was stopped at the time. You can sort of see how the northern cell had the better looking core, and the southern storm was really getting linear. This setup was great, the tablet, a Dell Venue 8 Pro was running a full desktop version of windows but in a complete tablet format. So I was able to run advanced software like GR3, GR2AE and GrEarth without compromise. The tablet occupied little space and could easily be controlled by either Jen or I. Of course while driving my eyes were always firmly fixed on the road and Jen was my co-pilot navigator.
