Sights light this were the norm across the Greater Toronto Area.
At some point it dawned on me that getting into my vehicle would be difficult and likely near impossible.
The destruction to the tree canopy was amazing while sad at the same time.
The branches just seemed to tear away with ease!
Many smaller trees and flexible ones just gave in to gravity and folded to the ground saving themselves from destruction.
At least 50% of these trees came down to the surface.
Just a mess.
Driving down many roads was difficult and in some cases the road was completely obstructed.
I'm not sure when, but somehow, in the midst of the storm, someone from the City of Vaughan showed up and marked some of the trees with an R for removal.
