I'm not sure today is a good day for driving lessons?
The damaged is never ending
These residents somehow managed to chisel, pick, hammer, claw, scrape and shovel through the ice on their driveway.
Good luck!
If you did not pay attention it was easy to think for a moment that there had been a delicate coating of snow.
Nature seemed to turn everything into a unique glazed work of art.
City crews worked restlessly to navigate the tree littered streets and melt the ice. To put it in perspective, there was 37mm of ice on the road that needed melting, when they stop salting at 8cm of snow, that's really around 6mm of liquid equivalent. With the ice storm, there's 6 times as much ice to melt through!
I hard a crashing noise and spun around to catch this branch falling to the ground.
I included this photo because the guy to the left has an awesome expression. It's a pure look of "wow, that's cool!"
