Waking up was refreshing, but the house was still cold and there was no power! Junior was also no longer with us, so I still had grief deep inside but the storm had shifted my mind for the time being. It's day 4 if your counting.
Finally, shortly after the previous photos, power was restored and the central air system kicked in.
I headed to a local park to grab some more ice photos.
The clouds were finally giving way and the sun was poking through.
Prior to this, it had been only cloudy, the ice was now a prism.
Here's a tree branch in my had, the ice is almost thicker than my thumb with the glove on!

It sure looked pretty.
To have a thick coating of ice and sunlight is just incredibly unusual.
