I can say it a million times, but that's probably not enough. This was without a doubt, super surreal.
I spent a little while beside the Black's Creek Management Area. It had a lot of deciduous trees and provided for the forested and snow covered landscape I was looking for.
You can see that some trees are still completely green and show no sign of losing their foliage anytime soon. I wonder what those trees were thinking?
I also made sure to snap a few tight shots. You really want to see whats going on.
I love the yellow against the white, just wish the sky been more blue.
Yellow, orange, red, green and white? You bet!
This was pretty cool!
I snapped a couple shots looking down this road. You can see how much snow is on the grass versus the road. The warm ground temperatures on the roadway limited accumulation significantly.
Not sure what to say here. Surreal.
This was just west of Lady Bank. I spotted this deer feeding and it began to run as I stopped to grab the photo.
This tree stood out and the little patch of blue sky really makes the photo!
These cows, which I'm sure were happily grazing the day before had this look of "what's going on". They all just gazed at me as I took this photo. I don't think they were impressed with me LOL.
This was cool! This marshy area just south of 12th Concession B was full of dead trees, but the orange is from a row of deciduous trees tucked in behind the dead stuff and there's sunlight creeping in on the far right side of the photo.
I took several dozen photos in this one spot. I event crept down the dangerously steep slippery snow covered embankment to get right to the edge of the marsh. Did I mention I had two cameras strapped on?
Just the coolest little marsh area.
After blasting off what felt like a bazillion photos at the marsh, I headed up Side Rd 35 and spotted this little wooden cabin.
It's a cool perspective shot, snow or not.
Anyway, Side Rd 35 becomes a narrow 4x4 trail with zero maintenance so I turned around and went back to the main road. I saw this cool scene and stopped to grab a quick photo.
